To be honest, the majortiy of traffic I get here at What’s the Point? comes from people searching for this album cover…

Ken: by Request Only

Turns out, according to the William K. Wolfrum blog — which pulls Ken’s picture from this site — Ken has become quite the sensation…

First, let’s get something straight - from the Pete Rose haircut to the Ron Jeremy moustache, Ken is hot. Big-time hot.

Plus, Ken is a cultural icon. Numerous Web sites honor his sizzling album cover and bigger than life personality, and he actually has his own MySpace page, where he lists his interest as: Myself, technology, haircuts, hairstyles, leisure suits, masks of any kind, Chevy Nova’s, microwave ovens, wood paneling, making pies, haircutting technology, new guitars, now keytars, leaded gasoline, lead paint, starbright, and glow worms.

Anyone who makes pies and enjoys haircuts is Ok in my book. And that’s really all you need to know about Ken. No one has heard his music, no one knows his last name. But it doesn’t matter. He is Ken, and he will live forever.

And, I’ve finally come across a site which may have been one of the initial sources for all these…

In what amounts to a digital paean to horrid graphic design and judgment, I offer you the Museum of Bad Album Covers, the most comprehensive listing I’ve ever seen.
